BSM-500DW Compatible Dental Milling Burs

The BSM-500DW uses the standard BSM tool-changer interface. Our burs are cut to that interface's 4 mm or 6 mm and are intended for zirconia, PMMA and wax in wet on W / DW models, dry on D / DC models. They replace the OEM tool set directly without any software or collet changes.

Typical tool set

• Rough-shaping burs (2.5 mm / 2.0 mm tip) for bulk material removal
• Medium burs (1.0 mm tip) for axial walls and proximal surfaces
• Fine burs (0.6 mm / 0.3 mm tip) for occlusal anatomy and margins
• Matched shank diameter for direct mount on the BSM-500DW

Expected bur life

Bur life depends on material hardness, feed and speed, and whether the job is a single crown or a full-arch framework. As a rough guide, a dental zirconia set typically produces 30-60 crowns before finishing quality drops; PMMA and wax burs last considerably longer, metal and glass ceramic considerably shorter. Track your milling logs and replace per actual wear, not on a fixed interval.

Confirm the shank matches your BSM-500DW tool changer before ordering - if you are not sure, pull a used OEM bur from the machine and measure with a caliper. We ship internationally and package burs to protect the cutting edges in transit.
