Sirona MCX5 Compatible Dental Milling Burs
Milling burs for the Sirona MCX5, cut to the same tip geometry and shank tolerance as the OEM tool set. Used for glass ceramic, lithium disilicate, zirconia and composite blocks in the machine's standard wet milling cycle. Mounting: Sirona block-holder tool format.

When to replace
Replace burs when you start seeing fuzzy margins, white-line chipping at incisal edges, or an increase in milling time at unchanged feed and speed. All three are signs of cutting-edge wear rather than machine fault. A good habit is to photograph a fresh bur's tip under magnification and compare monthly - wear is obvious at 20x.
Before you order
Check three things on the OEM bur you are replacing: shank diameter, overall length, and tip diameter. These three specs together identify the correct aftermarket bur 95% of the time. If the spec sheet on a product page does not list what you need, contact us with the OEM part number before ordering.
