98 mm Open-System Zirconia Discs

The 98 mm open-system disc is the most widely used zirconia format in dental CAD/CAM - it fits the majority of open-architecture mills from Roland, XTCERA, IMES-ICORE, Aidite, UPCERA, Arum, Cradle, JINY and many others. Our 98 mm discs are cut to the standard 25 mm step thickness and 14 mm / 18 mm / 22 mm / 25 mm body heights.

Formats in this range

• Monolithic 3Y-TZP for posterior work
• 4Y / 5Y high-translucency for anterior
• Multi-layer discs with incisal-to-cervical gradient
• Standard disc thicknesses from 10 mm up to 25 mm

Mounting note

"Open system" means the disc geometry follows the common 98 x 10-25 mm convention, but individual machines may require slightly different holders or step-ring adapters. If you are ordering for the first time for a given machine, take a caliper measurement of your existing disc before placing the order - we occasionally see labs discover their "open system" mill uses a vendor-specific step height.

Compatibility

These 98 mm discs are designed to mount in any open-system mill that accepts the standard 98 mm disc format. Not compatible with 95 mm Zirkonzahn or 89 mm Amann Girrbach holders - those have dedicated categories.
